Benefits Officer, Wincanton Cares
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wincanton Cares for a Benefits Officer, working part-time from home for six hours per week (£27k pro rata).
​
The postholder will help residents across the BA9 post code area to claim a range of government benefits and services with an emphasis on Attendance Allowance, Carers’ Allowance, Blue Badge applications and charitable support.

Family Safeguarding Recovery & Wellbeing Worker
The Balsam Centre is recruiting for a part-time
Family Safeguarding Recovery & Wellbeing Worker
to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of
children’s social workers, domestic abuse and substance misuse specialists based at Children’s Services, Brympton Way, Yeovil.
​
The postholder will ensure that parents who come into the Family Safeguarding programme, and have a mental health condition, are provided with holistic, strengths-based support, focusing on the individual needs of the parent and family, linking with the wider Open Mental Health offer as required.

Bank Caretaker/Cleaner
The Balsam Centre is looking for a Bank Caretaker/ Cleaner to provide occasional cover for holiday and absence periods for the three other members of the caretaking team. This is a zero hours contract working 5.30pm-8.00pm, with some later lock-ups as needed.

South Somerset Community Accessible Transport (SSCAT)
Based in Wincanton, South Somerset Community Accessible Transport require part-time minibus drivers.
Hourly rate of pay is £11.20 including holiday pay.
Hours are flexible but may involve some early morning, evening and weekend work.

Applicants must have a caring disposition and hold a full clean driver’s licence with D1 category. Suitable applicants will be subject to mini bus test and DBS checks.
