Community accessible transport (CAT Bus)

The CAT Bus provides transport to the communities of Wincanton, Bruton, Castle Cary and the surrounding villages. The scheme operates a Ring and Ride door-to-door service for people who live in villages without transport or for those who are unable to access the normal bus service.

Where can I go?

This map shows the parishes where the CAT BUS operates and you can travel anywhere within these areas. Anyone with mobility problems, or experiencing difficulties reaching other destinations should contact the CAT Bus as they may still be able to help you.

How much does it cost?

Membership of the scheme costs £15 per year, and then you pay for any journey you make. Fares are very reasonable, and holders of bus passes travel at half price within the operating area.
